Recently watched Psycho, The Shining, and Rosemary’s Baby. Significantly better quality than any of the recent (i.e. last decade) horror films. They took more time to build suspense, characters, plot lines, etc. than Saw and co. Horror movies don’t have to begin with scary scenes.

Finally saw The Artist. I expected it to be serious and artsy ( black-and-white, silent, Best Picture) but it wasn’t. It was clever and charming and shows how little of communication is verbal. See it.

I guess (for now) this tumblr is movie-related…
